Privacy Policy

TileCount respects your privacy.

This Privacy Policy explains what information the TileCount app collects, how it is used, and what choices you have.

What TileCount Does

TileCount is a tile estimating app for contractors, remodelers, installers, and related users. The app includes a free Quick Calc mode and a paid Pro workflow for saved jobs, pricing, quote readiness, and PDF export.

Information You Enter

TileCount stores information you enter into the app, such as:

• job names
• customer details
• space dimensions
• openings and deductions
• tile, pattern, substrate, and waterproofing selections
• pricing defaults, labor, markup, tax, and quote terms
• business profile information used in proposal PDFs

This information is stored locally on your device in the current version of the app.

Purchases

If you purchase TileCount Pro, the purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. TileCount does not receive your full payment card information. Apple may provide limited transaction status information needed to determine whether Pro access has been unlocked or restored.

Support Communications

If you contact us by email, we receive the email address, message content, and any information you choose to include. We use support messages to respond to your request, investigate issues, and maintain our records. Support email is handled through our business email provider.

Website Hosting

The TileCount website is hosted by a third-party hosting provider, which may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser, device, and request logs to serve and secure the website.

Analytics And Tracking

As of the current release build, the TileCount app does not use:

• third-party analytics
• advertising SDKs
• cross-app tracking
• user accounts
• cloud sync

If analytics, crash reporting, cloud sync, accounts, or centralized email collection are added later, this policy and App Store privacy disclosures must be updated before that version is released.

How We Use Information

We use information only to provide the app's functionality, including:

• calculating tile estimates
• saving jobs on-device
• applying your pricing defaults
• generating estimate and proposal PDFs
• determining whether Pro access is unlocked

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your job data with third parties except as needed to provide platform functionality such as App Store purchase processing by Apple or PDF sharing actions you initiate from your device.

Data Retention

In the current version, saved jobs and settings remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app. If you delete the app, locally stored data may be removed from your device by the operating system.

Your Choices

You can choose not to enter customer or job details, delete jobs from the app, remove the app from your device, or restore App Store purchases through Apple's purchase system.

Children's Privacy

TileCount is not directed to children.

Security

TileCount uses platform-standard storage and App Store purchase systems, but no method of electronic storage is completely secure.

Terms

Use of TileCount is also governed by the TileCount Terms and EULA.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will be posted on this page.
